Operations Department
Joe Ridge, Owner/President	Joe Ridge and his wife, Debbie, founded Ridge Heating & Air Conditioning in 1982. Since that time, the company has grown to more than 25 employees; however, Joe remains the driving force behind the daily operations. Ridge Air Conditioning enjoys a hard-earned reputation for quality products and customer satisfaction due to Joe’s involvement in every aspect of the business. He and Debbie have been married for 30 years, and have three grown children (Jennifer, Kevin, and Angela) and two grandchildren (Marleigh and Deanna).
Dave Riley, Sales Manager	Dave moved to Panama City in 1951. He graduated from Rutherford High in 1965 and attended Gulf Coast Community College and University of West Florida, graduating with a BS in business administration in 1968. Dave then entered the Air Force and was stationed at Hurlbert field (Eglin) for 2.5 years. During that time, Dave completed 25% of his masters degree in systems management from the University of Southern California before being shipped to a radar site in South Korea for 4 years. Since returning to Panama City, Dave has worked with W.T. Grant, West Florida Gas, and Amerigas. In 1998, after leaving Amerigas, he joined the team at Ridge Heating and Air as an Estimator/Sales Representative. Dave married Susan in 1969 and they have two sons. Susan is employed by Federal Civil Service at the Naval Coastal Systems Center. Craig is a graduate of Florida State. He and his wife live in Miami where he is employed with the State of Florida. Steven is a graduate of University of Central Florida and is a mechanical engineer with Lockheed Martin in Orlando.
Tina Coiner, Office Manager	Tina has served as Office Manager for Ridge Heating and Air Conditioning since 1991. She moved to Panama City in 1978 when her family retired from the US Air Force. Tina began her college education her senior year of high school and graduated from Gulf Coast Community College with an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration in 1986. Prior to joining the Ridge family, Tina worked at a retail computer dealer for four years. Hence, she is also the on-site computer “expert.”
Ashley King, Receptionist	Ashley has worked as Ridge's receptionist since 2001. She is a senior at Mosley High School, and will graduate in 2005. She plans to pursue a bachelor's degree at Gulf Coast Community, after which she would like to continue her education out-of-state.
Jennifer Lamb, Bookkeeper	Jennifer was born and raised in Albany, Georgia. She is a single mother with two wonderful children: a son (David) and a daughter (Ashley). After driving cross-country for eight years, she began an office-based career, moving into the heating and air conditioning field in the year 2000. During the summer of 2004, Jennifer moved to Panama City and joined Ridge A/C as general bookkeeper.
Elmer Combs, Warehouse Manager	Elmer retired from the US Air Force in 1971 with 20 years in the inventory management field. Elmer was the warehouse manager for Seymour Electric for nearly 20 years until the company closed. He then joined the Ridge family in 1990 working full-time until April 1994. In October 1994, Elmer returned to work part-time and has since “job shared” with another warehouse employee.
Service Department
Georgia Woods, Service Coordinator	After having lived in Oklahoma since the tender age of one, Georgia became a Florida resident in 1990. She is married, and has two daughters and six grandchildren. Georgia has many years of dispatch experience, and has worked at Ridge A/C since June of 2003.
Robert Nagel, Service Technician	Robert retired from the US Air Force in 1995 after serving 20 years in the computer/radar maintenance field. He completed HVAC training at Haney Vocational School. Robert joined Ridge Heating and Air Conditioning in 1997 as a Service Technician.
Billy Ray Everett, Service Technician	Billy Everett graduated from Chipley High School in 1967. He continued his education at Chipola Jr. College, where he graduated with a degree in HVAC Repair in 1970. By that time, he had already begun his career in heating & a/c service work. Billy brings many years of experience to his job as service technician with the Ridge team.
Installation Department
David Herron, Installation On-Site Supervisor	David joined the Ridge family in 1985 as an installer’s helper at the young age of 15 (he told us he was 16).He was promoted to Service Technician in 1992. In 1995, Ridge Heating and Air Conditioning began installing a new AC technology called “Geothermal Heating and Cooling.” David received training in this area while also working in the service department. Soon thereafter, he became the Geothermal Supervisor and began managing all geothermal projects from residential to large commercial systems. In 2001, David was promoted to Service Manager. He moved to the Installation Department, as On-site Supervisor, in 2003.
Pam Harlen, Installation Coordinator	Pam was born in Birmingham, Alabama, but her family moved here when she was 3 years old, so she considers Panama City her home. She graduated from A. C. Mosley High School with a business degree, then attended Gulf Coast Community College and Mississippi College. During her years as a full-time mother of three, she became involved in freelance writing and enjoyed her “15 minutes of fame” when Hallmark published her writing in their “Shoebox Greetings” product line. She has been with Ridge since 1992, working with both the accounting and service departments and currently serves as Installation Coordinator.
